WADG Repeaters

Incorporated in 1978 the Wide Area Data Group has prided its self on promoting the advancement of the amateur radio hobby.  WADG also prides itself with several high level repeater systems that cover the Northern Nevada area including parts of Eastern California  The repeater network is open to all amateur radio operators.

Mt. Rose
Located on the Mount Rose Knob, located north of Incline Village Nevada, the repeater has one of the widest coverage repeater in Northern Nevada. The repeater covers the greater Carson City, Carson Valley, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Fallon, and Eastern California (Including Sacramento area). The repeater is the hub of the Mount Rose Repeater network which includes the 147.210 / 444.925 in North Reno, 444.875 in Yerington and 147.030 in the North Sparks Valleys.

Peavine Peak
Located on Peavine Peak in North Reno the repeaters cover the greater Reno / Sparks area. The repeaters are linked to the Mount Rose System and hosts several wide area nets each week.

Virginia Peak
Located in the North Valleys of Spanish Springs, Sparks, this repeater covers a vast area of Northern Nevada.

Grand Sierra Resort (GSR)
Located on top of the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, this low level repeater provides coverage to the Reno/Sparks area. The system provides users with IRLP, Autopatch(currently disabled) and remote base capabilities.

Lobdelle Peak
Located south of Yerington, this repeater covers the Yerington, Wellington, Smith Valley areas and portions of Carson Valley. This system is linked to the Mount Rose System.
